this!! everyone i know always judges me for having the emergency blankets and sleeping bags. not ONLY are they waterproof and windproof, they can also be used to signal for help because they're big and reflective, most also have a gold side and a silver side, so also good in snow to signal help!

I keep blankets and fleece pants in my car at all times. I used to use those fleece pants to camp in September. people have laughed at me, but they've come in handy. I'm an adult with an suv, i refuse to be uncomfortable

could have used that last winter. Ford focus + pot hole at the bottom of a hill the day after a snow storm.... it was about 4 hours until my car was pulled free and I was able to drive home
