i had to get a hysterectomy earlier this year and i BEGGED to keep my uterus so i could preserve it in resin to make a christmas ornament. i saw a girl on here do something similar with hers. i’m still so angry they didn’t let me keep it… like that’s mine hello?? i could’ve had the coolest conversation piece ever

I wanted to keep my brain tumor in a little bottle soooo bad, cause I wanted to shake it and burn pieces of it and basically torture it like it tortured me, but they couldn't access it and had to burn it with gamma rays so I'll miss out on that

To me ive always assumed theres push back because hospitals can safley dispose of human remains while somone unlike you could say they wanna do all these things, be negligent, say "eh i give up ill just chuck it" and imagine being the person to find a body part in the landfill / garbage?!?!? A whole investigation would have to happen!

Be careful when traveling with dry ice. It puts off gas that can cause you not to survive the drive(sorry trying not to get flagged for the comment). Make sure you ventilate your car somewhat when driving with the dry ice and I can’t wait to see it when it comes back!

I have amp friends in other countries that have their limb! It’s so interesting that the USA doesn’t typically let you take it. I left mine for the my hospitals school to experiment on/ study. I wish I kinda got to see it before though. ☠️
