@officialtisch: #ValChmerkovskiy will not be participating in next week’s Dancing With the Stars following backlash over his recent social media comments 😬👀 ➡️ In a statement shared by BBC Studios, the production company called Val’s post inappropriate and said it did not reflect the values or standards expected of anyone connected to the show. The decision comes after Val faced criticism for a social media post referencing Will Smith’s infamous 2022 Oscars slap while defending his wife, Jenna Johnson, amid criticism of her choreography. Val has since publicly apologized to Carrie Ann Inaba and everyone affected by his comments. It has not yet been announced whether Val will return for a future episode. (#fyp #DWTS)
