@holly.hocks05: Infusion days are not my favorite. This round gave me so many symptoms, and I found out one of my most favorite infusion nurses moved away 🥲 It is terrible when we get up to my appointments and my labs aren’t available. We started late because we needed to know where I was at with my platelet and IGG levels, but the later we start the longer we are stuck in the infusion center. I will see an immunologist in December to find out if this treatment is necessary in the long run because it is so time consuming and makes me feel so horrible every time (on top of all my cancer related symptoms). When I was a kid I had IVIG at Primary Children’s for the first time and it landed me in the hospital for a full week. Now that I’m an adult I do tolerate things better but it still SUCKS. Reminiscing on FanX is one of the only things that keeps me going during times like this. So grateful for @Adam McArthur for getting me to FanXSLC 2026.
