In the 80s kept getting dismissed in job interviews & finally figured out it was my hair, damn near down to my belt line. Cut my hair. Got a job. 4 yrs later, cut it even shorter (think buzzcut) Landed a job that required a short clean haircut had a no facial hair policy. Worked that job 34 years. I retired 2 yrs ago at 58. I'll never have to work again.

I’m a blk guy with dreads and got a good job just got a promotion too but it took alot longer than the whites we get discriminated bad it’s sad man but don’t cut them don’t dare change for them ppl we are who we suppose to be we are the best people to ever do it 🖤✊🏿
