Mums take a lot of water probably daily watering if it’s still warm and sometimes if you plant them in a he yard they will come back next year

You could plant those "dead" mums along that field line and they will come back next year. Mums require lots of water. Moist soil but not soaking. We have 27 years of Mums in our woodline and just inside the woods. At the very least start on a compost pile and throw them in there.

Get you one of those plastic pans that’s for flowers and put water in it and then set your mums in it. You water mums from the bottom up.

I kill mums too. I read to put the entire container in a bucket of water. Water from the BOTTOM not the top!

You can take it up another notch by using an orange light bulb for your porch light! I have them on my front porch, my back porch, in two of my lamps in the house lol all year round. Very chill vibe.

After mine die, I spray paint them white/silver, add little cheap red and green bulbs and BAM, pretty holiday porch pots for the winter ✅

A heads up from what I learned in my younger years... Get mum's with buds (before they bloom) so they last longer. Always water from the bottom by soaking in a bowl/bucket. Also you can plant them in the ground. They get alot bigger as time goes and they have a beautiful show in 2 to 3 years after planting. LOVE YOUR DECORATIONS! You've done a wonderful job!!! 🍁🎃🍁
