Modern science have recorded earliest memory develop at 3 years old (at the earliest), as, Aisha remembered Abu Bakr’s 615 CE Abyssinian trip, proving it in Sahih al-Bukhari (2297) by detailing her father’s courtyard mosque and neighborhood crowds. Assuming she was 3 years old in 615 CE, her birth year is 612 CE. Subtracting this from their 624 CE wedding makes her 12 years (or older) old at marriage with the Prophet. An age of 12 was entirely normal in advanced Roman culture. Formal Roman law explicitly set the legal minimum marriageable age for girls at exactly 12. Aristocratic Roman families routinely married off daughters at 12 to secure political and financial alliances.
