homophobic and transphobic people are going to hate us regardless of what pronouns (neo or not) we use, especially when we use ones that they think "don't fit" us. neopronouns don't "set us back" by doing anything because half the time they're online and made by younger queer people trying to find their identity

Tbh if something like weird pronouns is going to make a cis person discriminate against trans people, they were always transphobic and always looking for an excuse to be a bigot. I don’t want conditional acceptance where if I do one slightly wrong thing, the respect I’ve cultivated in my oppressor is revoked. I want to stand with weird trans people and fight for them too.

cis people are going to find a reason to hate us regardless. if it’s not neopronouns it’s they/them pronouns, if it’s not they/them pronouns it’s gender non conforming trans people, if it’s not that it’s us just wanting to exist in public. you can’t “one of the good ones” your way out of transphobia, so putting down other trans people for expressing themselves in a way you don’t understand is pointless

As a neo-pronoun user id say 99% of neo pronoun user doesnt expect to have them be used irl, doesnt force people to use them, and has more conventional pronouns they also use because they know that people wont use their neo-pronouns. this is a bad take and is the same logic the lgb uses, the people who want trans people gone arent just gonna stop at the neo-pronoun users they are gonna make sure all of us are gone

neopronouns are a non issue because the vast majority aren’t using them or talking about them anyways. anyone demanding to be called extremely obscure pronouns by everyone they meet, tbh doesn’t really exist, and if they do… wtf has that got to do with me. only an invested transphobe would try to pin that on everybody else. i agree, it’s pointless for one to have their very own unique set pronouns (NOT something already commonly used)… bringing it up, as a trans person, is stupid. you’re making up arguments just to yap. i have never once encountered this topic irl and it would be extremely easy to disengage from, if i did. average cis person doesn’t even know wtf you’re talking about.
