Just buy a second combine, then leave one set up for each type. I mean, I do it all the time when I play Farm Sim. No biggie!!

Don’t change the rethrasher for soybeans. It stays in corn, that’s straight from JohnDeere

Where y’all from. Corn before soybeans is unheard of unless it’s wet corn

Got to have that cob deflector down or you’ll eventually destroy your chaffer by the chopper throwing cobs back into it. Ask me how I know. I always leave my rotor in 1st gear with Estes concaves. 350-410 threshing speed with corn and 380-420 with beans. Depends on the time of day and moisture

Why do you change the feed accelerator speed on a 780? Deere changed the way it feeds into the rotor on a 700 series and you are not required to run it in high like the 600 series machines.

We leave rotor in 1 and then we leave are feed accelerator in slow but we also do seed beans help with less splits

I’ve always left the rethrasher on corn since a grain of soybeans is pretty much the same size as a grain of corn. Small grains refers to something like wheat

leave the rethresher in corn position, change your crop deflector and take the spacers out on your grates

I’m gonna try that next time. My chopper spreads too much to outside

Try running your fins left on the right side and the right on left. Opens up the center then chokes it down to get to the outside.

Leave the rotor in first, run between 300-450, and up to the 400s when they get tough, you’ll be way gentler on the beans

13 mm take fins off so you evenly distribute the discharge. Change rotor from first to second. All seems prefect except kips not running the combine 😂😂😂

running a draper head always leave feeder house drum up and never move it but if running old auger flex head lower it no need to lower just leave up and run all the time

Why change feed accelerator and why change rotor speed?? All we do is chopper speed, chopper knives and we do change cob deflector. Know lots of personal preference but we do it from dealer recs
