My lactation consultant sized me after my son breastfed. Mine are usually flat also if they aren’t stimulated! That also be could be causing the raw nipples!!!

I get good out put with the milk booster presetting and turning on the vibrate and heat. Mine will leak out the top so I make sure to ONLY keep them vertical.

When I had me my second he was in the nicu for 8 weeks and I had to pump. The lactation consultant gave me olive oils to put on my nipple before and after I pumped. It was amazing 100% recommend. Did the same thing with my 3rd baby as well.

Putting coconut oil or nipple balm in the flange can help the raw feeling. Think about it, your babies saliva helps your nip glide smoothly so putting oil in the flange will help mimic that🫶🏼
