Real fur is x100 more sustainable and better for the environment than faux fur. Faux fur is just plastic and it falls apart faster (usually in a few years) than a real fur coat that is taken care of. People throw away their faux fur coats and the plastics remain in the environment/water/soil for hundreds of years.

I think fur coats are fine as long as the foxes were taken care of and died of natural causes, but majority of places arnt like that sadly. it is a beautiful coat though
