@letterstozachary2022: This picture is A.I. generated. This is the picture that I'd longed for for so many years. This was the goal. A happy, smiling, loving family portrait. This was all that I wanted; a space in time to show the greatest achievement to my name. Sadly, I never got this picture and now it's too late. It wasn't by design. Life just got in the way ironically. This was a tangible goal I was never able to achieve and one of my greatest regrets. Some of you might say that it's "just a picture" and it is, but to me a picture like this means so much more. This was seeing my family growing and achieving things that are unimaginable now. This was us experiencing my son growing from a wonderful young man to a young adult.. This was seeing my daughter continue to compete in a good hearted way and grow with her brother. This was my son being his sister's biggest supporter and protector. This was watching my son and daughter's sibling relationship continue to evolve as they loved each other so much. It was them against the normal/neurodivergent world. This was supposed to be the time that my wife and I sat back and watched as my son and daughter blossomed. Sadly, this complete picture was never meant to be. They say that each picture is worth a thousand words.
