Especially when you consider like clothes wise we work like 98% of our life and maybe go out occasionally we don’t need mountains and mountains of clothes. We need to stop buying for occasions that aren’t happening. I have downside to a closet and about 6 drawers a clothes and it’s freeing.

I can’t get over the storage buildings. If I don’t have space at my home to keep my belongings, I’m definitely not renting space to store stuff I’ll forget about having.

My aunt has bought multiple properties and filled the house until it's unlivable and then just moved on and bought another property. I know of 6, I'm sure there are others I don't know about.

I finally got the courage to start selling a bunch of stuff on Depop (fr like bags of clothes I moved around with for years intending to sell). Once the money started building up I made it a goal to sell enough to pay for housing for my upcoming Japan trip. I was going with or without selling stuff and now it’s such a fun goal! I’m at $1,500 rn and it’s motivating me to sell more to cover the trip.
