I recently switched from immediate release Metformin to extended release because the stomach issues were intolerable. It made a huge difference. No GI issues on the ER version.

Does help , thank you for being so informative. I was at 6 for few yrs now 7 but at times blood sugar drops to 60 many times per day with Dexcom so nervous to take meds. So confusing !!

Metformin makes me projectile vomit within 20 minutes even on the lowest dose. My body can't stand it.

I’m on Mounjaro. It’s been helping me so much. I did have to go through a pre authorization through my insurance company for it which took about a week. I’m also down 34 pounds since August.
