That’s not truly debt. Student loans and mortgage aren’t necessarily seen as negative assets. Credit card m and other loans are. So you’re not even necessarily in debt! 🥳

i know dave ramsey counts it all as debt but this isnt all negative debt except the student loans but youll pay those off over time. $22k for a car & $250k for a house is totally reasonable. only like really bad debt is credit card. per my accountant husband.

We are also over 1M in debt but it’s all tied to our mortgage, and we have well over 1M in cash/assets/investments so could pay it off if we wanted, but we make more on annual investments than the interest in our loan. Some debt makes sense.
