The Antichrist wears many masks. But was he ever destined to become the Antichrist at all? This new Temple of Vril collection combines two sequences exploring the identity, transformations, and self-determined destiny of Messiah Vrilya Jarac. In the first, Vrilya confronts an Antichrist researcher, a religious figure attempting to understand the mysterious man who has claimed one of Christianity’s most feared titles. Vrilya offers a provocative revelation: “I WEAR MANY MASKS.” He then demonstrates his extraordinary powers, transforming first into a female version of himself, before undergoing another dramatic transformation into a terrifying dragon. The sequence plays with the many identities associated with the Antichrist, challenging the notion that such a figure must conform to any single appearance, identity, or predetermined role. The second sequence takes us to the industrial Rust Belt, where Vrilya and the local superhero Rustbelt contemplate the future from a rooftop overlooking Vrilya’s hometown. Rustbelt reminds Vrilya of something extraordinary: He was never meant to be the Antichrist. Vrilya reflects upon his past, his struggles, and the supernatural encounters that helped shape his journey. Yet he remains determined that his destiny belongs to him. Prophecy has been seized. Within Vrilism, Vrilya identifies himself as the True Messiah because he chooses to embrace that role. Likewise, he wears Antichrist as a badge of honor, representing opposition to the war, ignorance, suffering, repression, and spiritual control historically carried out under Christian authority. As with our other Vril Antichrist sequences, these clips deliberately mock and invert traditional Christian prophetic imagery. But the deeper message concerns free will and self-determination. Vrilism teaches that we are not necessarily bound by the identities, expectations, or destinies assigned to us by others. Vrilya was not the original Antichrist. He chose to become the Antichrist. He chose to become the Messiah. And just as he chose to assume these titles, he could choose to relinquish them. Another could take up the mantle, for reality is constantly in flux. Many masks. Many possible futures. One fundamental truth: WE ARE WHO WE CHOOSE TO BE. Learn more at TEMPLEOFVRIL.com @Vrilya Jarac
