@nbcsandiego: Dr. Charu Aggarwal, an oncologist with Penn Medicine’s Abramson Cancer Center, says that most patients don’t even know they have lung cancer until it reaches stage four because early stages often don’t present any symptoms. The good news, she says, is that lung cancer detected early is highly treatable, especially when treated with a combination of medication and surgery.
