Avis? I rented a car from there, got it home and the key fob was dead and I finally got it started then the oil change pop up kept coming up with a warning

Wipe off the dipstick. It’ll reset the oil light. Worked in rental for 10 years. The new VWs oil is really expensive and companies don’t want to pay for it so it’s too thin and splashes throwing the sensors off making them think there’s too much oil in the car.

We drive my husbands 2011 diesel Jetta from Louisiana to North Carolina in 2015, and we averaged 42+ MPG there and back. Great cars!

I went thru 8 rental cars in 7 days on my 2 week road trip. First was too small and wasn’t I reserved, second had “extremely low oil” third had the gauge cluster and radio stop working as I left. 4th broke down in the middle of Hollywood. 5th didn’t have working turn signals or cruise control. 6th was supposed to be the right car and wasn’t and was a rwd convertible and I needed a AWD car to drive over mountains in March. 7th was stated to be AWD and wasn’t (noticed it on the key about 1/2 hour after I picked it up) 8th one was finally the right car and it was fine. Had to change cars along my route (from Seattle to LA, to Vegas, to Salt Lake City, to Spokane WA, and back). Cars were in order: Mercedes CLA, Audi a6, another Audi a6, Audi q7, Audi a4, mustang convertible, genesis g70, Audi a4
