But when you’re deeply identified with your wounds, the person exposing your shadow can feel like the enemy. So instead of integrating the lesson, you attack the messenger. And the earth angel doesn’t need revenge. The consequence is that the lesson remains incomplete. So life keeps sending the same curriculum through different relationships, losses and situations until you finally become conscious enough to understand what the original connection was trying to teach you.
