Stolas is still a good character but is still struggling with the fact he can’t see his daughter and he thinks that if he dates blitzø it’d feel like he’s picking him over his daughter. Plus I’m pretty sure He’s used s!x before to distract himself from his horrible marriage with Stella aka the start of his and Blitz arrangement with the book

You know what guys, I don’t even blame Stolas for how he’s acting anymore. He’s still sweet and caring, he’s just using bdsm as an outlet for his emotions. He’s tried with Blitz and it wasn’t working (until it was too late) and he really doesn’t have anyone else to turn to about his true desires and feelings

acctually no.stolas is the perfect example for what we call a complecated character. he's very very well writen. he's in depression and in the couping stage whwere he's distroying himself all bcz he 'deserves' it and he's a shamed. and the only reason stolz don't wanna be with blitz is bcz that'll only prove octevia'ss point of choosing blitz over her. and stols doesn't owe blitz anything. yes blitz was hurt. and yes stolas shouldn't have done what he'd done nut from his pov it's understandable.and since blitz and him never dated in the 1st place stolas didn't technically do anything wrong. i honestly hate how SOME fans are now critisizing and hatting on stolas bcz he fcked a guy other than blitz. like blitz didn't do that? but other than that i'm very excited to see this season arc for stolas

Arguably, IMO, it makes him a better character. How many people irl do you know only have one personality trait and don’t act badly from time to time especially after something troubling. If he was like this 💯 of the time despite everything he’d gone through and wasn’t acting differently, then he’d be a badly written character.

I do like when he acts like this it’s sweet and gentle, but while I understand that he’s a nuanced character and has character flaws I also get very annoyed with those flaws so I don’t like him as much as I could.
