My mom has been battling ovarian cancer for 10 1/2 years. 3 rounds of chemo, 1 radiation, countless hospital stays/procedures. At this point we do laugh a lot in these situations. I love our dynamic and the way we always find reasons to smile♥️

When my mom was having chemo I would go to every appointment with her and my dad. They would pick me up from house, my dad would pack the snacks and the whole time we were there she would ask if I needed anything, did I eat, was I thirsty, am I cold. Like man you’re literally dying I will be ok if I skip a meal [Crying] they’re always your mom til their dying breath

Family came to visit when my mom entered hospice and she was still hosting from her bed, ordering food and pointing out who needed drinks refilled. Moms never stop being moms

My mom took me and my brother (8 years apart— I was 17 he was 25) to the hospital and we shared a room. Just straight chaos. My brother kept throwing his shoe under the curtain, peaking from the curtain, making fun of her. I was there for horrible neck pain and stiffness (frequent neck issues) and he was there for an abscess. It was like 6am-7am too so we were sleep deprived as fuck. She learned QUICk to never do that again LMAO

I am 32 and whan I have to take my parents or my Husband to the E.R I ask the same ? lol the funny thing is my daughter does the something to me if I have to go to the E.R lol

I’m glad you are there for her. I spent many days in the ER and hospital stays with my mom through the years. I can’t imagine anyone ever having to be alone through that!
