So they’re traumatizing Muslim women because they were traumatized in the name of Islam and the trauma cycle keeps running[Teary eyed]. I think if a safe space was created where both exmuslims and Muslim women can openly talk about their experiences might help see each other on a different lens maybe reduce or break the trauma cycle on the long run?? Maybe this would be a good topic you can consider in your podcast, if you’re interested I mean!

I feel like I'm like this a little, I'm a woman myself, live in a muslim country and a feminist, when I see muslim women (in the west specifically) claim to be feminist, it feels no different than seeing a woman siding with a r@pist who never experienced what that person did yet coming to a space for victims of that person and defending them.
