I tried the Usenet route and the Arr stack. I found it lackluster for what I wanted. Like you, I wanted small files with high quality. Most of the good sites for acquiring media and Kodi have them already shrunk as much as possible while still in HD. I use IDM to get from the sites on my own and Kodi, I just look at the file size when downloading. Don’t get me wrong, Usenet is easy, click and download if you can find what you want how you want it, and it does it without you. You just need a good indexer and you get what you pay for. I just prefer the hard way which is free but I always get what I want and how I want it. For music, there are a few good tools exponentially better than the Arr stack music, I forget what each arr is for specifically but I tried them all once. Thanks for sharing your insight though, you never know what you don’t know until you know it.
