@gibsonishere: Pay attention and use critical thinking skills… youth protests around the world. #genz #EduTok #france #research #think

ࡀ०glishedࡀ॰ :

If grandparents get to vote for a future, why do the next gens have to suffer the consequences?

Louenzo :

Thank you so much 🫰🏼🇫🇷 Critical thinking is very important right now

Ivy :

in estonia our minister of wealth said something like "screaming won't bring you money, working hard and not being lazy does". He said that to collage students after they protested about having to have 2 side jobs just to have food on the table.(with their parents support). Our collage students don't even have time to study cuz they are working just to be fed.

this is a generational wave but not all countries get equal traction online. media coverage of France is on point now but this is happening all over the world Nepal, Albania, Croatia, France, in Serbia it has been going on for 2 whole years which has yielded a first ever student designed list for the upcoming elevation for the parlament, and all people were suggested and vetted by complete student body of all universities in the country, and are a united front in opposition to the corrupt authoritarian government. It is a very unique situation and no news in the world has covered it, but the elections are in four days from now on the 25th

✨⦻TheMoonShow⦻✨ :

my high school literally protested 🧊 we are the ones fighting for the immigrants

fortniteoakley :

thank you for explaining

:) :

I’m noticing the same is happening in Mexico. Quite scary to see history repeat itself 😔

Laura :

Thank you for sharing how strong young people can be when they want to see change happen. [Pray] The young people quietly watched until they had enough and decided it was time to be the change. [Twin hearts]

🦄Xx :

Alda :

My teacher actually covered this topic for discussion during homeroom. Everyone in the classroom didn’t care except for me, even the teacher was against these protests and I found it horrifying. Like, these people are the same age as us, getting out on the streets to fight for their rights of education and basic human rights, and getting shot, gassed and attacked by the police and government THAT ARE SUPPOSED TO BE PROTECTING US BY THE WAY. And..these people can’t seem to find it in your heart to care? People in power are switching up the narrative to villainise groups they don’t like. This is why knowing your sources and keeping up with global politics is so important. Because it affects EVERYTHING and EVERYONE. Anyways. Thank you for speaking up about this :) glad to see more information popping up on my social media.

Aurora2211 :

It's also happening in italy

🪼🪬♥️🦕 :

in spain we are terrified yo be back how it was 60 years ago

S.S ~Teen Author :

As a young person, I couldn't be prouder of those protesting, and I wish I could be out there with you

🌻Daydreaming Historian🌻 :

Spain, Italy, Albania I believe Belgium is now started as well in addition to France. It’s really starting to move and it is the young people who are saying why should we have to accept this?

aquarius.moon117 :

I'll never understand what happened to people to make them side with corrupt governments over their fellow everyday human beings. Power to the people!

Mad Sweeney :

the young people want a future and they know it's not the immigrants or religious minorities that are robbing them of a future

Sounderschick :

Oppositionen4altid :

Swedish are like this now. Don’t want to see the real reason

ML :

It's as if they were trying to scare the french students off only to then have to realize that Gen z is a lot braver than they thought.
