@sarrahmariia: since we’re all friends now, i wanna tell you guys the story of why i left. september 2019, we’d been together for five years, we had a son who was about to turn two, and he proposed. shortly after, i got pregnant with our second son. then covid happened. and i fear i was one of the few people who was actually relieved to be stuck at home because it meant i didn’t have to be pregnant in public. 😭 around that time, my ex, who was an entrepreneur, became involved in a business opportunity in the covid testing industry. and our lifestyle changed in a way i don’t think either of us could have anticipated. private jets. supercars. suites in vegas. chanel. dior. my very own metal amex. like i’m sorry, the lifestyle was objectively fabulous. and for a while, i was really happy. but here’s something i’ve learned about having access to that kind of money: it can change the entire environment around a relationship. the expectations. the priorities. the dynamics. even the way you imagine your future. and by spring of 2021, my life was about to change in ways i genuinely couldn’t have imagined. you know how sometimes you drop your purse and everything spills onto the floor? well, imagine the universe picking up your entire purse, turning it upside down, and shaking it until literally everything you own falls out. and there’s me, standing there pretending absolutely nothing happened. anyway. that’s where part two begins. and buckle up there’s probably 5 or 6 more episodes until we get to the season finale #covid19 #lockdown #relationshipredflags #stopthewedding #storytime
