I was okay-ish with the boy wanting to go and learn the hard way, because he was throwing a fit or something! But the aftermath makes me feel like he may have been reassured that it was all good and fake, and then ended up genuinely scared when things unfolded differently. You could at least own up to your f*ck-up and comfort him instead of leaving him to deal with the fear you caused. 🥴

I was escorted out of my first haunted house. The lady kept saying “we have a chicken little coming through” [Tears of joy] they all paused the noises and didn’t scare me on the way out. As an adult I appreciate that for kids but also as an adult I laugh at myself for being that scared. I literally thought they were trying to kill me and my family [Tears of joy][Tears of joy]
