Construction worker Bobby Silva rescued her from the water, suffering a bite in the process. Despite a bruised lung, the kitten had no broken bones. After receiving care from New London Animal Control and veterinary professionals, Silva adopted her and named her Molly Carlson after the champion cliff diver.
