People need to check them contracts from now on and make sure there’s an “in case of death to either bride or groom money can be refunded” because dam that’s sad and crazy!

They had a contract. If they cancelled for any other reason they also wouldn’t get a refund. This family is trying to use this death to break the rules. However, here’s what would be fair: if the venue gets re-booked and paid for by someone else, I would give the refund. And, BTW, these funds were NOT stolen.
