I kinda wonder if Jenna Dewan will ask for a different partner. She’s big on women’s rights, speaking out on dv, etc. May not want a partner like Val. I think they should give her a different partner and let him sit the rest of the season out, but I don’t know if they’ll do it. I also found it interesting that they said he would not be in the ballroom for dedication night, but did not say that he would 100% be in the ballroom the following week

Instead of an opening number or shortening it, they need to discuss what happened, do a public donation to a dv charity, and then do a crash course from the show on which dancers can do lifts and demonstrate what a lift entails. If they had like Bruno go through the actual judging guidelines and had Derrick and Julianne demonstrate the dos and don’t I think that would be helpful and help make things slightly better

I think fans need to realize that their crusades against CAI will never result in her being removed from the show. This literally proves that she’s an extremely valued member of the show and production will make sure she’s protected, as they should tbh.

This is what I’ve been saying for years as I have been watching the show since I was about 12-13 for Derek (I am 29 now)& I can say unequivocally that the chermkosky clan since the start has done this shit over and over….i would not be watching the show still if not for Derek bcuz of the relentless violence that clan had/has insinuated over the years. I am a dvsurvivor so its hard each season but im a DH loyal fan&dance nerd so i just have learned to mute the show&turn my attention towards other things in those resulting minutes till they are off my screen. This current situation is making me so angry…val shouldn’t just be suspended but put on leave w/o pay pending investigation& ultimately fired. Sorry not sorry and then those like jenna etc…should be put on notice. Enough is enough
