he’s so good offensively that he’s top 3 even without any defensive attributes, wemby may not be as good offensively but is an undisputed dpoy at 25ppg and leading a team to the finals and shai is one of the most efficient scorers of all time while still being an adequate on ball defender

as a nuggets fan i unfortunately agree with him at 3 this season. he was still awesome vs the wolves in the postseason last year as per usual but compared to his usual standards and the standards of best player in the world..rudy gobert may have made him look like a great player but not quite on the level of shai and wemby. at least for now.

This whole ranking in general has been pretty shit, but not having Jokic as the undisputed number one js shows the undeniable bias nba media has against Jokic simply because he isn’t attractive in terms of marketing. We are witnessing greatness with Jokic, genuinely a player who will be in all time greatest conversations come the end of his career. He is indisputably the best player on earth and has been for the previous 5 years and the entirety of this decade.

Anyone who puts Jokic below 2 has no idea what they’re talking about. The ONLY person you could argue with more impact than him is Wemby, purely for his defensive pressure. Shai does not carry nearly as much offensive load as Jokic, nor does he have anywhere close to the same playmaking ability. We saw last postseason that shai becomes a top 10-15 scorer when he doesn’t get free foul calls, and from the officiating so far this year he could easily fall off a cliff.
