SPOILER ALERT DO NOT READ TILL YOURE DONE WITH THE CAMPAIGN!!!!!! This is my take on this amazing campaign, idc what anyone says, it was tragically beautiful…The whole series price had a philosophy of “it’s okay to cross the lines sometimes if it protects the innocent” his death is a direct consequence of everything he did in the previous games. Soaps death in mw3 was the turning point for him. He assassinated Shepard and went on the run. What he did in MW3 put price on a path he couldn’t reverse out of. Gaz was his protege, he represented the moral compass the price lost throughout the years. Gaz’s death was final straw that made price understand the consequences of his actions. He realizes Gaz was right and tells ghost to “hold the line”. The line between good and evil. Soaps death shattered tf141. Their endings were poetic imo…. It’s a full circle, for years price believed that crossing some lines was okay, till he crossed a line that affected his brothers… that’s what made him realize Gaz was right all along. Now about ghost, he’s seen both sides, seen the consequences of both philosophies. So now he’s the last one left, holding the line. Ghost is a ruthless operator, but has seen how both philosophies play out… sometimes not crossing a line means innocents die, sometimes crossing a line means your brothers die. The last living survivor of TF141, tasked with simply “Holding The Line” while his brothers watch from above….
