I stopped a guy from using a fake 100 and he got mad and yelled at me that I was doing too much and that I don’t get paid enough to be doing all that, I simply responded with “i get paid enough to not use fake money” and he left pissed af lol

I’ve been around money money since I was like 14, my dad taught me how to feel money and know if it’s fake(plus the light test) fake money feels different to me so I can touch most of it and just feel it. I’ve always caught all the fakes I’ve been given since I was 19(when I started my first retail job) I can feel and look at all the tell tell signs with new and older bills so far lol. Ive seen some really good fake bills and I could still just feel the difference in the texture😬

Scratch the clothing with your fingernail. If it’s rigid and you can feel each line then it’s real! That’s how I could tell without a pen. I caught a counterfeit $50 that way, the dude was so pissed at me 😭 in a Winn-Dixie when I was 16, mind you LMFAOO

A lady, one time tried paying $500 in 50s half of it was fake I was like ma’am. Half of these 50s are real and half of these are fake and she was like oh what that’s crazy. I got this from the bank and I was like OK. Let me just call my manager. She took the money out of my hand and dipped, but she tried it again two days later, and got arrested lol

I had to accept obvious counterfeit and serve the food. I only said something after they left cause he had a hand on a gun on his hip the whole time. I got in trouble for accepting it😭
