@johann_andre: someone on github built freellmapi: dozens of free AI providers behind one api key, so you can keep coding in claude code when your 5-hour or weekly limit runs out it runs on the providers' free models, not on claude. free & open source (MIT), and the creator says personal experimentation only, so keep client work on your paid plan link in my bio #claudecode #opensource #github #aitools
this totally won't steal anything on your computer while you're using it lmao

How’s it gonna keep context? If this is 100% legit this just seems incredibly impractical

The Inference AI :
The comments are asking the right question. Free inference at this scale is subsidized by someone, and routing your API keys through a third-party proxy is a real trust decision. The architecture is genuinely interesting, one OpenAI-compatible endpoint with automatic failover across 34 providers, but "personal experimentation only" is doing a lot of work here. Fine for weekend tinkering, not for anything with real data.
