also let just clear this up since people think i’m an idiot. my dog is 5 months old. this is her first public walk out of our apartment complex. so she’s gonna be curious and try to smell or go up to anything and everything she can. we had been tugging on her the entire walk bc again she’s still learning. we never saw her eat anything but somehow she did.

Yeah immediately a vet visit babe. If you didn’t see anything happen you have no clue. Change in behavior like this unexpectedly is like an emergency visit.

Is your puppy through all vaccinations? They’re supposed to be before first public outing because they can easily contract parvo which is usually a death sentence unfortunately

GOT to watch her better bro not completely your fault but I meannn she's a puppy that's your responsibility to make sure she doesn't consume things ultimately. there are tools and methods to doing that even at that young like training or a soft netted muzzle for this specific issue. could have been prevented

Lady Bird lake can be dangerous for dogs. please don't let your dogs drink water off the lake or ground. It contains a deadly amoeba. Not to mention how many people do drugs at the park.
