I was that 13 year old tell her what u went through the good bad and the ugly . Let her be a kid and make mistakes but redirect her when needed don’t be to strict on her that makes them sneaky. Talk to her relate to her listen to her as a parent we want our kids to listen to us. Take her out for a girls day just you and her and actually listen to her ask her why she keeps running away what is that the streets have that’s she is missing at home. It may be freedom , not getting what she wants, a little boyfriend she’s running after whatever it is try to compromise and make whatever she is trying to do an incentive . If u do good in school and make good grades you can do this or get this. But just telling her the streets don’t love you isn’t gonna make her listen it’s gonna make her wanna go see for herself tell her these stories your telling us like I said I was once that 13 year old running away and the only thing I wanted was a little freedom but I wish my mom would’ve told me what she went through even if it made me look at her differently.
