I tried this with my two oldest, 13 and 11, after years of them not knowing what to take for lunch I gave them free will for whatever. And for three weeks, the asked for cereal for breakfast, bologna sandwiches and cup a soup for lunch, and noodles for afterschool snacks lmao

I love that you give your kids a voice in their diet; I work with some very closed minded older gen who were just saying how disgusted they were that their niece came to visit and requested almond milk and they refused to accommodate her because “she can eat what we are eating or go hungry!” So thanks for being a safe place! (My parents hate that I give my kids options too)
