Bro, just a small observation out of curiosity 😊 While I agree that we should encourage speaking Tamil and keeping the language alive, I noticed that even in this video, you used quite a few English words. I guess it happens to many of us without even realising it! Some of us may choose to speak English, while for others, it comes naturally because we spend most of our time speaking English outside the home. I don't think it's always intentional, and I don't think we should judge everyone the same way. The same applies to other communities too. There are Malays and Chinese who aren't fluent in their mother tongue, and that's okay. Everyone has different circumstances and preferences. I think we can encourage people to embrace their mother tongue without making them feel bad about how they speak. And we need people like you who genuinely make an effort to keep the language alive. Both can coexist, right? 😊 At the end of the day, let people learn and express themselves at their own pace. ❤️

I only use Tamil at home since my 2 daughter are born. English and BM they learn from school standard one and some from TV. Today are grown up adults can read write and speak 3 languages.

yes exactly. i feel weird talking in english with tamil ppl. even if they talk in english i will reply in tamil automatically. its just spontaneous.. but idk how come some ppl simply communicate in English within our tamil community 🤣🤣🤣

I speak English and Malay at home. My nenek is nyonya. She only speak Malay. Its difficult to learn tamil at the beginning. So I took initiative to speak with friends at the age of 15. The first thing my friend teach is tamil bad word. How should I know. Got scolded from a boy. That anger me. So I learn tamil little by little. Learn tamil letter from a uttupathi sales man. He gave free tamil letter A4 size. Now I can read and speak. Writing still poor. Now I learn from my 9 year old niece. All my niece n nephews in Tamil school.
