We need to normalize getting help. Nothing wrong with going to a hospital and getting resources and a support network. Nami is amazing, support groups, meds, therapists. I dont care what people think about me, I got the help I needed and I support others and cheer them on. you are not alone.

I owe my life to a public DHS worker. I called another department for assistance and to get help and they told me they had a crisis worker who worked next to him and to hold on and he handed him the phone. This man picked me up from my house, called the hospital ER and stayed with me while being admitted. I think about his compassion often. Don’t be ashamed to go to the ER if you need to, seriously. Thank you Eric for making this video.
