Well Notre Dame had two OPI calls that weren’t called on Notre Dame on a touchdown scoring drive. So I’m sick of this narrative. There were a couple bad calls that went Notre Dame’s way

I absolutely thought it was PI. But …Look closer —the receiver locked on to the defensive back’s wrist and pulled the DB onto himself. It really LOOKED at first glance like PI but it wasn’t.

So, with the receiver clearly holding the defender's wrist in a vice grip, in your own replay, a no call goes exactly with how the refs had called it all night.

Might have been PI but they missed an offensive PI on notre dame earlier and called a defensive PI on BYU that really wasn’t one. BYU also had an offensive PI wipe out a touchdown.

BYU fan here. I think it was DPI. There were other missed calls. These things happen every game though.

Horrible take because every Notre Dame Copium right now is ignoring the fact it was only that close because of 2 previous HORRENDOUS PI calls. If you want this one, give BYU back the 2 much worse calls earlier and they win comfortably. It is highlighted because it was at the end but BYU absolutely got the worse end of the calls tonight.

What about the previous bad plays called in BYU! Did you conveniently forget that? Because it was the last play it doesn’t make it any more important then those other bad calls against byu! Be objective if you want to be taken seriously!

Gonna sit here and act like CJ Carr’s spike fumble didn’t end up costing them the game. If they at least score a FG before half then by the time the last drive starts Notre dame would only need a FG to win it

NO! If anything it was O-PI Buuuuuuut ... even though BYU beat Notre Dame, they will only rise 1 place to 7th, and Notre Dame will only drop to 6th. You just watch.

There was a lot of PI on defense, offense, BYU, Notre Dame. The refs really didn't call a lot of these. Nice thing is they called a fairly consistent game.
