Wudu is the ritual washing that Muslims perform before prayer. It cleanses the body and purifies the soul. Here's how to make wudu: 1. Make the Intention (Niyyah): Begin with the intention in your heart to perform wudu for the sake of prayer. 2. Wash Your Hands: Start by washing both hands up to the wrists three times, making sure water reaches between the fingers. 3. Rinse Your Mouth: Take water into your mouth, swish it around, and spit it out three times. 4. Cleanse Your Nose: Sniff water into your nose and blow it out three times to cleanse your nasal passages. 5. Wash Your Face: Wash your entire face from the forehead to the chin and from ear to ear three times. 6. Wash Your Arms: Wash your right arm first, from the tips of the fingers to the elbow, three times. Repeat the same for the left arm. 7. Wipe Over Your Head: Wet your hands and wipe over your head once, moving from the forehead to the back and returning to the front. 8. Wipe Your Ears: Use your wet fingers to clean inside and behind both ears once. 9. Wash Your Feet: Wash your right foot first, up to the ankles, ensuring water gets between the toes. Repeat three times for each foot. 10. Recite the Shahada (after completing wudu): After completing wudu, it's recommended (sunnah) to recite the Shahada:
