Investigate your kibbie body type. Then you’ll know your best fit and wash. As a jewel tone winter, go for dark wash denim. They will fit best in with your new wardrobe.

Regarding the royal blue sweater that you said was a splurge… The color is phenomenal, but the style is un flattering. Rather than a crewneck style with lettering across the bust, try a sweater in that same color but with a V-neck or that is a crewneck cardigan that you could leave open.

I think you should stick with more fitted tops to show off your silhouette! I find shorter tops to be more flattering. if you're not use to wearing fitted clothes it can feel uncomfortable at first but I promise it's more flattering

Cannot recommend enough learning your body shape and which silhouettes complement your proportions! It makes such a difference when choosing both tops and jeans. These jumpers hit right at the widest point of the hips, which can throw off the overall balance a little, so cropped, tucked-in or longer oversized styles could work better. Also, might be a controversial opinion, but the barrel-leg jeans were the best fit around the waist and hips and looked great!

Those last jeans were it sister! That dark wash was beautiful and it made the focus more towards your torso and face which I felt like was really flattering 🫶🏼
