@ssm_animmelodies: EP.07 | The Child They Threw Away 🌍The Man With the Ring After the key, Mama Ebele tells Oluchi she is the only child alive who can wake the Vault with her mother, and she is only seven. By the fire she explains that when Chief Obiora, Oluchi's grandfather, died of a "sudden sickness", his younger brother Nnamdi took the seat as keeper because Oluchi was too young to stand with her mother. Oluchi recognizes him as the man with the ring who gave her a sweet. Mama Ebele says the Ancestors have never spoken to Nnamdi because he has no Flame, and that he must have feared the day Oluchi turned ten. She recalls the crash three years ago, when Adaeze's car went off the Niger Bridge and no body was found, and how Nnamdi wept loudest at the empty-coffin funeral with dry eyes. Hearing that Adaeze came to Oluchi's room that same night, she concludes that Adaeze faked her death to protect her daughter and that Nnamdi was behind the crash. She warns that at the Onwa Festival in forty days, Nnamdi will tell the elders Adaeze's child was born with no mark and ask to be crowned Leader for life, and Oluchi's shoulder is the only proof he lies. The episode ends with her saying he did not wait for Oluchi to turn ten, and three years ago he made sure there was no mother left to stand beside her. #foryoupage #fyp #foryou #anime #tiktok
