@father.haroutouyn: Why do we pray for the dead? 🙏 In the Armenian Apostolic Church, we believe that death does not separate us from the love of Christ. When we offer Hokehankist (Հոգեհանգիստ), we ask God to forgive the sins of our departed loved ones, show them mercy, and grant rest to their souls. We pray not because God has forgotten them, but because we have not stopped loving them.
