@ioanaweber7: BEWARE OF BTS IMPERSONATION SCAMS! 🚨 (Please Read & Share) Dear ARMY, with the recent comeback excitement, K-pop scams are heavily on the rise. Fraudsters are using advanced AI and emotional manipulation to steal money and data. The Golden Rule: True BTS members will NEVER contact fans privately, send DMs, or ask for money, gifts, or personal details! 🚨 Major Red Flags & New Tactics: Fake Tickets & Virtual Queues: Scammers create exact copies of Ticketmaster or Weverse (using .io or .net instead of .com) to sell fake VIP passes. Watch out for people offering to "wait in virtual lines" for a fee! Paid Blue Checkmarks: A blue verification badge on Instagram, X, or Threads is NO LONGER proof of identity. Anyone can buy them now. AI & Video Loops: Fake accounts use AI or looped recordings of old livestreams to pretend they are on a live video call with you. The "Private Account" Trap: Real BTS members do not use private Facebook profiles, WhatsApp, Snapchat, Telegram, or TikTok to text fans. Official accounts are for promotions only, never for private DMs. Weverse & Facebook Fakes: Scammers impersonate idols or staff in Facebook groups and Weverse comments. They post fake giveaways ("You won! Click here...") or offer exclusive VIP memberships. Official memberships are only sold inside the regular Weverse Shop! 🛡️ How to Stay Safe: The Greeting: Scammers say "my fan". Real members strictly use the name ARMY. No Financial Requests: No member will ever ask for money, gift cards, or "military clearance fees." Official Channels Only: Real interactions happen exclusively on verified group pages and official Weverse announcements. Stay vigilant, ARMY! 💜 If a profile looks suspicious, do not reply. Block and report it directly through the official HYBE Artist Rights Violation Unified Reporting Portal.
