@meowcoveofficial: ‎Si Bao, whose name means “Four Treasures” in Chinese, was abandoned in Datong, China. ‎ ‎While living near a railway station, she was hit by a train and lost both hind legs. Despite her injuries, she learned to walk on her two front legs, with railway workers looking out for her. ‎In 2014, photos of Si Bao caring for her four puppies touched people around the world. Rescuers helped the family get veterinary care, but sadly, three puppies died from distemper. ‎ ‎Her surviving daughter, Xiao Hua (“Little Flower”), was adopted alongside her mother, later renamed Lelly, and they went to live together in a loving home in Hong Kong. Despite everything she endured, Si Bao never gave up on her babies.
