A British farm set a Guinness World Record with a giant pumpkin mosaic of Jack Skellington, nearly the size of a tennis court 🎃 The Nelson family, who run Sunnyfields Farm near Southampton, recreated the iconic “Jack’s Lament” scene from The Nightmare Before Christmas in October 2023, marking the film’s 30th anniversary. It shows the Pumpkin King standing on the famous spiral hill in front of a full moon. The design used more than 10,000 pumpkins and squashes in their natural colors. The family carefully arranged them like pixels, sometimes swapping pumpkins in and out to get the size just right. Covering 2,081 square feet, it earned the brand-new Guinness title for the world’s largest cucurbita mosaic. To qualify, it needed to cover at least 100 square metres. Ian Nelson said they hadn’t set out to break a record, since they build a big display every year, but realized it would qualify and went for it.
