@edentessa876: A Highway Worker Found Two Suitcases—And Uncovered A Former Officer's Dark Secret In June 2014, a highway worker mowing grass in Wisconsin found two suitcases dumped on the side of the road. Inside were the badly decomposed remains of two women. Investigators later identified the vict*ms as 37-year-old Laura Simonson, a mother of seven from Minnesota, and 19-year-old Jenny Gamez from Oregon. Both women had vanished months apart after traveling to meet a man they connected with online. That man was Steven Zelich, a former police officer who had resigned years earlier after an internal investigation found he stalked women while on duty. Detectives linked him to the missing women through motel security footage and DNA found on a rope at the scene. When questioned, Zelich admitted to k*lling both women. However, he claimed each d*eath was an accident, telling police he lost control during a se*ual game. According to his own statements, Zelich hid Jenny inside his refrigerator for over a year. After Laura d*ed the same way, he kept both of their remains in the trunk of his car before finally abandoning the suitcases along the rural highway. Zelich eventually pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including m*rder and hiding a c*rpse. He was sentenced to a total of 70 years in prison. Do you think 70 years is an appropriate sentence for this crime? #TrueCrime #Wisconsin #Investigation #Justice #Suitcase
