The Hulk is a superhero created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby who first appeared in Marvel Comics in 1962, existing as the alter ego of physicist Robert Bruce Banner after he was caught in the blast of a gamma bomb he had built. Where most heroes draw strength from training or willpower, the Hulk runs on something far more volatile, since his power is tied directly to his emotional state and climbs the angrier he becomes, turning what would destabilize most people into literal fuel for him. Banner himself is often portrayed as the opposite of the creature he becomes, a quiet, withdrawn scientist who keeps his emotions tightly controlled, which only makes the transformation more dramatic once that control finally breaks and the anger takes over completely. This connection between rage and raw power has been handled differently across different eras of the character, sometimes framing the Hulk as a separate consciousness born out of repressed anger, and other times suggesting there is no ceiling to how strong he can get as long as his fury keeps building, making him one of the only heroes in fiction whose upper limit is essentially undefined. The ongoing tension between Banner and the Hulk, one man trying to suppress the very thing the other needs to grow stronger, has remained the emotional core of the character for decades, with anger functioning less like a flaw to overcome and more like an engine that only runs hotter the more it is pushed. #fyp #relatable #hulk #brucebanner #motivation - @eraycekicc
