@hitchlife: 🚨 BEFORE YOU ACCEPT AN OFFSHORE JOB, ASK THESE 5 QUESTIONS! NUMBER 5 COULD SAVE YOU FROM LOSING YOUR MONEY! I wish someone had told me these things before my first offshore contract. Because getting the job is one thing… knowing exactly what you’re signing up for is another. 📅 QUESTION 1: WHAT IS MY EXACT ROTATION? Is it two weeks on and two weeks off, or three weeks on and three weeks off? Get the schedule confirmed in writing because it determines how long you’ll be away from home. 💰 QUESTION 2: HOW IS MY PAY CALCULATED? Are you paid hourly, daily, or monthly? Ask about overtime, offshore allowances, travel days, and weather delays. Never assume you’ll earn the same as someone else with the same job title. 🦺 QUESTION 3: WHO PAYS FOR MY TRAINING AND MEDICAL? Some employers cover required safety courses and medical examinations, while others expect you to have them already. Confirm the requirements before spending your money on certificates. 🍽️ QUESTION 4: WHAT IS INCLUDED IN MY CONTRACT? Ask whether meals, accommodation, flights, transport to the rig, and protective equipment are covered. These benefits vary, so get the details before accepting. 🚩 QUESTION 5: IS THIS EMPLOYER LEGITIMATE? Check the company’s official website and verify the vacancy through its legitimate recruitment channels. Be careful if someone demands money in exchange for a guaranteed offshore job. Remember, these five questions can protect your money, your time, and your safety. If an employer refuses to explain the contract clearly, take that as a warning sign. 👇 Which question would you have forgotten to ask? Comment 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5! 🔥 Follow this page, comment OFFSHORE, and check the link in my bio for a step-by-step guide to getting started.
