@billy.the.bernese: Don’t be fooled by the peaceful puppy walking videos! 😂🐾 Walking a teenage puppy isn’t always as straightforward as it looks, especially when that puppy is a very curious, very sociable Bernese Mountain Dog who wants to investigate absolutely everything! But practice makes progress, and every walk is another opportunity to work on loose lead walking, recall, staying calm around distractions and just learning to explore the world together. This was one of our recent countryside walks around Quarry Bank in Styal, Cheshire, and while the finished video might look like a peaceful autumn dog walk, there were plenty of chaotic moments that didn’t quite make the final edit! 🍂 We’re definitely not aiming for perfect puppy walks. We want Billy to have the freedom to sniff, explore and enjoy his adventures while learning a few manners along the way. Because raising a puppy isn’t always picture-perfect, but that’s half the fun. 🤎 Does anyone else have a camera roll full of lovely dog walking videos that don’t quite tell the whole story?
